My wife and I were looking for alternative hotels after Newport Coast Villas had no rooms available and found this hotel in Costa Mesa. What a find indeed! This place was a walk across a bridge from South Coast Plaza shopping Mecca! Oh goodness - my wife and I were in awe of the many different places to shop there. Back to Westin - the location is a bit tricky to get to but once you figure out how to get there, it’s very convenient. Amenities are good. The rooms are of average size and I’m thinking this hotel is mostly for business travelers. The beds are literally heavenly. The restaurant is only open for breakfast with limited hours but their kitchen puts out great tasting food! We ate there 3 mornings in a row and boy, were they good and very filling. And the staff, they’re all friendly and full of smiles. It’s the friendliest spot while we were there. Outside of the hotel, nobody said hello or smiled at you! Overall, we were surprisingly impressed with the hotel, its staff and the housekeeping staff who came in to fix the room while we were out. Hotels these days don’t do that anymore but this nice hotel does. We will definitely come back and stay here for more shopping!

We frequent the Westin South Coast because it is next to the amazing South Coast Repertory Theatre. Plenty of restaurants to chose from, before or after a play. No need to get into your car once you've arrived. We took a dip in pool too.

Doesn’t have an M Lounge or comp breakfast for Titanium, charges $10 to have a microwave in the room when I would only need it for a minute. Most Westins are not like this. I rather go to a Marriott proper in this area.

Our stay at The Westin South Coast Plaza was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I called ahead with a special request to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and Vivian S in reception was incredibly helpful and professional from the beginning. She handled everything with genuine care and made the process completely seamless. When we arrived, the thoughtful touches in the room made the occasion feel extra special. The room was comfortable, clean , and welcoming, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. What stood out most was Vivian’s responsiveness and the way she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her great service is exactly why we’ll continue choosing The Westin for future stays.

An excellent 4 Star property in South California. The staff are super helpful and the food and wine is at the peak… The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. The signature Westin Heavenly Bed truly lived up to its reputation, offering one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a hotel. Small touches like high-quality amenities, a well-stocked minibar, and excellent in-room dining added to the overall comfort. The property also offers outstanding facilities - an inviting pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and elegant restaurants serving fresh, high-quality meals. Breakfast was especially delightful, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. One negative use of it is that you need to pay for your car parking, I wish that is included in my room charge rather charging me $45 for one day parking. The Westin strikes a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and attentive care. I would highly recommend the Westin Hotel to anyone looking for a refined, relaxing, and memorable stay…

Stayed here over the weekend. It is in a great location with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel has various places to sit comfortably both inside and outside. Even though there were conferences, it never felt crowded or too busy. The waterfall in the courtyard is soothing and the midway terrace was peaceful. The pool was a good size and the gym was well equipped. I also liked the amenities in the room like the lavender balm. Small things I wished could be better included some help with the doors when I was pushing the luggage trolley and if they could have factored in my daily credit when I checked out.

Upscale hotel in Santa Anna. Room service with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Restaurant and bar on site. Nice rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Not a budget friendly hotel, definitely pricey, but you pay for what you get. I highly recommend this hotel, but keep in mind parking is $45 a day and valet is $60
